Shipping and cargo containers are notoriously hard to secure with electronic systems. This is because radio signals cannot penetrate the metal skin.
Our container alarms are equipped with a small antenna which is neatly installed on the outside of the container, whilst the detector remains on the inside. The two are connected with a small cable which passes through a 3mm hole drilled in the roof of the container. Neat, tidy, precise! The ‘mushroom’ antenna fits flush to the metal of the container protecting against any water ingress and it is virtually undetectable to intruders.
